True untouched, unspoiled, pristine Canadian Shield country! Strictly fly-in. We have two large tracts of Atikaki Wilderness Park allocated for operating black bear hunts. Atikaki is an Ojibwa word meaning "country of the Caribou" and what a country it is! During your float plane ride you will see the landscape is full of lakes, streams, rivers, waterfalls, bogs, forests and rugged rock outcroppings.

The forests contain black spruce, jack pine, aspen, birch, white spruce, balsam fir, willows and the vulnerable pink lady slipper along with many other species. Words just can't describe it! Come up and see if you can put it in words what an adventure is like in such a place! Expect to see lots of bears in all color phases, Canadian Moose, Woodland Caribou, Timber Wolves, River Otters, Beavers, Bald Eagles, Loons, NO PEOPLE or CIVILIZATION.

The 2 hunting area's allocated to us encompasses 36500 acres of untouched wilderness. The camps are run alternatively so you are not hunting an already hunted area. All access to bait sites is by 16' aluminum boats safely commandeered by our guides. Tree stands range from bow to easy rifle distance from bait site so you can enjoy watching bears come and go while waiting for the one you are looking for. Once your photo session is complete, and your bear is safely stored in the deep freeze . . . It's FISHING TIME!

You will be transported by van from your motel in Winnipeg to the float-plane base. The hunts are 7 days from Sunday to Sunday with a capacity for 8 in camp. While in camp all your meals & needs will be met with a cook, guides & camp staff. At the end of your hunt you will be shuttled back to Winnipeg & we can make arrangements for your taxidermy needs or you can ship it home with you.

Does it get any better than Walleye frying in a pan over a bed of coals? Just
drop a jig or troll a rig through the right spot and you have another one on!
There is nothing that portrays the north like a lake trout hitting your lure
in clear water. Come for the bear hunt and enjoy the free fishing just as much.
We maintain a strict barbless hook and catch and release program aside from
a few for shore lunches. Take home a bear , memories , photos and a replica
fish mount if you want, but leave only foot prints.
